Women Life Freedom: Iranian Women Need Your Voice with Afsaneh Tehrani and Bana Anvari

It is said that Women Life Freedom is the first women initiated revolution in the history and in the world! Women in Iran have been leading mass protests since September 2022. Young women, generally of Gen-Z generation are rebelling against the suppression and humiliation their mothers have endured since 1979.

In this episode of Empowered in My Skin, we give voice to this movement, with invited guests Afsaneh Tehrani and Bana Anvari, both friends and former colleagues of Nkechi.

Each share their stories, providing a view of why they left Iran, and how the current situation is significantly impacting them, their families, and everything they stand for.
